Gêssica Gomes started her career as a pilot in an air taxi operator. She graduated as a language translator and taught aviation English to young pilots and those who were searching for jobs abroad. She also trained maintenance personnel on how to read, translate and interpret maintenance manuals. She interacted with some civil aviation authorities for the certification of training organizations at an aircraft manufacturer when she specialized in quality systems. She later became the head of training at a corporate university of an airline, where she could manage training for pilots, maintenance technicians, and flight dispatchers. She also has an MBA in International Aviation Management.
